Indication: Bacterial infections of the gastrointestinal tract (eg E-coli or Salmonella).
Combination tablet for oral treatment of bacterial infections of the gastrointestinal tract (eg E-coli or Salmonella) in pigeons.

Symptoms:
The E-coli bacteria is always present in the gastrointestinal tract of healthy birds and can therefore be considered a normal inhabitant of the intestinal flora. However, the occurrence of other pathogens (such as the adenovirus) or stressful conditions (in young birds) can lead to an explosive multiplication of E-coli.
The toxins produced by this bacterium cause the following symptoms: increased water intake; poor appetite; vomit; and watery diarrhea. The physical condition deteriorates rapidly and the bird loses weight. The disease spreads through the aviary in no time. In less than 48 hours all youngsters can get sick.

Treatment with antibiotics is unavoidable.
Preventing stress and ensuring good hygiene in the cage are essential.
Also ensure an optimal condition of the intestinal flora by regularly providing acidified drinking water. DAC Super elixir (D102), is extremely suitable for this.

Active Ingredients: Neomycin Sulfate, Streptomycin Sulfate, Colistin Sulfate.

Dose:
Preventive treatment: 1 tablet per pigeon, 1 day/2 consecutive days.
Curative treatment: 1 tablet per pigeon, 3-5 consecutive days or as prescribed by an expert.
For the treatment of large numbers of birds, FMT all-round mix (D067) or Trimethoprim/Sulfa (D083) can be administered via the drinking water or over the feed.
